Asatan higher up’s favorite lunch places ! Ramen everywhere !

When we asked a higher-up of the asatan editorial department where he usually eats his lunch, he answered with 3 ramen shops. In this article we will introduce you 3 ramen shops you can find around Asahikawa’s station and recommended by the editorial department!

Asahikawa Sanpei

"Asahikawa Sanpei Main Store" on 1-jo Street is popular for its spicy miso ramen.
However, we ordered the special soy sauce ramen!

We went to the shop with the intention of eating the spicy miso ramen, but the ramen on the picture of the ticket vending machine looked so great that we fell for it!

An exquisite-looking soft-boiled egg is on the roasted pork fillet.

Even before eating it, you can imagine the soup and yolks melting in harmony in your mouth!

The noodles are medium-thick straight noodles and the soup is thick.

Recommended for those who want to enjoy the taste of Sanpei but want to eat something other than spicy ramen !!!

The "Ramen Sugawara Main Store" on 7th Street has a clear soup that hasn't changed since its establishment.
Thin and wavy noodles go well with the clear and light soup.

The another noteworthy thing in this ramen is its big roasted pork fillet.
It covers half of the bowl and fills rapidly our stomach!

It was a truly splendid ramen bowl.

It is a shop famous for its authentic and traditional Asahikawa-style ramen.

Asahikawa Ramen Aoba

Source: asatan

The soy sauce ramen at "Asahikawa Ramen Aoba" on Nijo-dori is characterised by its seafood flavour.

The editorial department staff now in its thirties remember going to this ramen shop on his way home from cram school when he was a child.

The medium-thick straight noodles go well with the flavourful seafood soup, this taste, which stayed the same all this time always makes our superior feel a bit nostalgic.

The octopus printed on the seaweed looks cute.
Wrapping the noodles into the seaweed, soak the whole thing is the soup to finally bite your seaweed wrap is simply the best!

If you want to eat a seafood-based soy sauce ramen, we recommend you "Asahikawa Ramen Aoba»

Conclusion

This time, we tried the soy sauce ramen out.
In a lot of asatan articles, there is many introductions of heavy, thick-sauce ramen, so we thought that maybe some people wanted to know more about the lighter soy sauce ramen ?

Please look forward to the next ramen article!
