It is the equinoctial week. Thus we will introduce delicious Ohagi (based on our reporter, BB mask,’s preferences) that can be purchased in Asahikawa. By the way, our reporter prefers coarse red bean paste to smooth red bean paste.

When you look for Japanese sweets at a cafe, you can't easily find them on the menu. But don’t worry, our reporter make thorough researches for us! Introducing a soba shop, a cafe in a residential area, and a newly opened coffee shop in a traditional street.
"Asahibashi Mizuho-dori Shopping Street" that runs from Asahibashi to the Hokkaido Gokoku (a shrine dedicated to martyrs) Shrine. It was once used as an important road connecting the 7th Division to the Asahikawa Station. People used to buy sweets here as a celebration of enlistment or discharge.
