Our 3 recommended parfait to eat after lunch in Asahikawa.

This restaurant opened last year in Midorigaoka.
The menu includes pasta, hamburgers and pork saute.

Our reporter ordered the pork saute on his first visit, and it was delicious (we will write more about it in another article).
You can order here a parfait made with espuma cream.

Our reporte ordered the fluffy pudding espuma parfait with bittersweet caramel (550 yen).
It looks elegant and beautiful in the glass.

The custard pudding flavored espuma cream is so fluffy!
But it still keep some density and you can really feel the gentle sweetness of the cream.
Our writer never had espuma cream before, but now he’s hooked!

It goes perfectly with the bittersweet caramel.
The crunchy topping gives it an interesting, crunchy texture and the cool ice cream is perfect for summer !

We highly recommend this parfait after a good Western-style meal.

We recommended this restaurant in our previous article about Teppanyaki lunch.
The lunch menu is very reasonably priced, with free refills of rice, salad and soup bar.

This is the fourth time our writer is coming here, but it will be his first time ordering a parfait.

The pancakes are pricey due to their huge size, but the after-dinner Sundae is only 390 yen!
On the menu it seemed kind of small. We ordered the strawberry flavoured sundae.
The sundae was also available in Matcha and tiramisu flavours.

What ? It’s huge.
That's two balls of ice cream!
And lots of strawberry sauce!
And strawberry pulp!

This parfait is quite delicious.
The strawberry sauce has just the right balance of sweetness and sourness, and it spreads slowly over the cold ice cream.
There is a lot of frozen crunchy strawberry pulp in the parfait, so you can enjoy the texture of the strawberries wherever you scoop.

The whipped cream was sweet and made you feel like you are eating a sweet delicacy. But the best of all was the cream cheese!
The cream cheese changes the overall sweetness of the parfait to a more mature sweetness. Thanks to that the large parfait didn’t felt heavy at all and was more than enjoyable.


The whole thing is only priced at 390 yen, which is very reasonable.
This makes us want to try this other flavours too... !

Don’t forget to keep some space in your stomach for this sundae after your lunch !

Baby Face Planets is located in Chūwa and is specialised in Asian cuisine such as gapao rice and spring rolls. This shop is also popular for its unique interior design.
Our writer often comes here for lunch, but finally noticed that the parfait is only 250 yen. And ordered one for the first time.

If you feel like a whole parfait is too much, you also have a large choice of ice cream flavours for only 150 yen.
Mango and hoji-cha tea flavours are also available.

The children's menu is also cheap ! (; ･`д･´)

Parfaits' flavours change from time to time and the day our reporter went to
Baby Face Planets, the parfait of the day was the Marron Cream Parfait.
This parfait is a luxury parfait on which you can enjoy both ice cream and soft serve ice cream. The sweet and mellow chestnut cream harmonises the two cold sweets.

The whole sweet is covered with caramel, which gives a slight bittersweet aftertaste. This is just the right amount of sweetness after dinner.

The pocky gives a fun touch to the dessert.

It's a great place to go with your family !
