Asahikawa’s delicious takeout bento !

He has been to this store many times for lunch. Here, the main side dishes AND all the side dishes are excellent !

Ryo went to many places to eat his lunch until now but this is definitely the place he would recommend.

The quality of the takeout bento is the same as the one you can eat at the store.
And there is plenty of side dishes ♪

You can choose between meat or fish for your main dish.
On the day of the picture, our writer chose meat as his main dish.

The chicken ankake was fried in crispy batter on which some sweet vinegar has been lightly poured on the top. The meat was tender and juicy.
The sweet vinegar goes well with chicken. This is the best combination !

Our reporter’s favourite side dish is the sesame flavoured one.
This is good!
The scent of sesame spreads gently, and it's so delicious that you almost want to only eat this.

The vinegared garnitures were crispy, and the other side dishes were gently seasoned delicious.
If you call the cafe beforehand, the waiting time will be faster and the takeout’s overall procedure will be smoother.

Handmade breads are sold at the entrance of the shop, some breads were made/mixed with spinach. ♪

Ki-Kurashi is a Western-style restaurant in Harumitsu where several types of takeout bento are available.

Our writer and his friends ordered 3 different takeouts.

The first takeout bowl is a Shiretoko pork loin cutlet with rice. Doesn’t it look appealing ?


Rice, crispy cabbage, cutlet with plenty of sauce… You can’t stop yourself once you eat one mouthful of this !

There are various vegetables reminding the soup curry’s.

The Shiretoko pork is unique to Hokkaido, be sure to try it out ! ♪

The second takeout is pure white and looks elegant.
Scallops and big, boiled vegetables are swimming in a rich white cream.
This dish is addictive!

And the last lunch box is the restaurant’s popular clay pot stewed hamburger steak.
The main ingredient is a well-simmered juicy hamburger in harmony with the tomato sauce. Indeed, the cook managed to create the perfect balance between sourness and sweetness!
The fried vegetables are delicious by themselves, they don’t even need sauce to be tasty.
